  • Well, I, for one, will never buy a GM after this bull.  They should have been left to die!!  This bailout was only good for the unions.  Screw them.  I will buy Honda, Toyota, Kia or the like from now on.  Never had a GM worth a crap anyway.

  • Its just another reactionary measure by the President and Congress - both parties - after they screw up.  They hand over money, don't put any preconditions on it and when the money isn't spent on what it was meant for, they have to scream and cry like its someone else's fault.

  • I, for one, have to laugh. I am hoping that all this backfires, and that company stocks go so low that no one is able to retire - that Obama raises the retirement age and everyone has to work until they die. It would be great to see this sort of failure and is just what we are headed toward.

  • The government creates no wealth, nor does it create jobs.  Keeping jobs around that there is no demand for only puts off the inevitable and when we crash, Obama and the Dems can own it, along with the three dimwit Republicans that voted for it.  I hope they choke on it.

  • Just like the government - the cost of the stamp is more than what is owed, but send the letter to collect anyway. Also, if you are owed, then you have to jump through hoops to collect. I had the same thing happen with child support services.
